Interesting investigation into the uric acid lowering effects of orange juice. Note that this is a study based on artificially induced high uric acid in mice, so results on human gout sufferers might not be so effective.

As with many natural gout remedies, the effects of orange juice on gout will vary from person to person. Your underlying uric acid levels and the rest of your diet will affect how much your uric acid is reduced by orange juice. The best way to see if it works for you is to arrange a series of monthly uric acid tests. If you have your own uric acid meter, you can test more frequently, but never less than 2 weeks. Between tests alternate between drinking orange juice and plain water. Try to keep the rest of your diet the same. After six tests, you should be able to see some pattern, and judge if orange juice is helping or not. Please share your results in the gout forum
