gout-quick relief?

I take allopurinol daily.? Once in a while I still get gout pain in either my left ankle or left big toe. I now have pain in my left ankle and even though I have looked at the list of things to eat sparingly or not at all, I can not pin point what is causing the pain. How to rid quickly the pain that I now have is the question I am asking.
