Like many of you on this forum I suffer from attacks of gout from time to time. As soon as I get an attack I take a dicnoflenec and usually after 3 (at 8 hour intervals )I can get back on my horse again…..! MY THEORY…..As a horse riding instructor I sometimes have to get on my clients horses. It seems that when I get “off” the horse and land a little heavily on my feet (injury prevents otherwise) it concusses my feet and sets off a gout attack.
OK give up riding…..but seriously has anyone else come across anything like this?
